Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using VibeChat ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

Description of Service

VibeChat is a free, anonymous chat platform that allows users to communicate with others in real-time. The Service:

• Does not require registration or account creation
• Does not store messages on servers
• Allows users to chat anonymously using chosen nicknames
• Is provided "as is" without warranties

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use VibeChat. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you should have parental consent to use this Service.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use VibeChat only for lawful purposes. You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal activities
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Share sexually explicit content with minors
• Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Spam or flood the chat with repetitive messages
• Impersonate others in a harmful or deceptive manner
• Collect personal information from other users
• Advertise or promote products/services without consent
• Engage in phishing, scamming, or fraudulent activities
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law

Content Guidelines

While we support free expression, certain content is prohibited:

• Illegal Content: Content that violates any law, including child exploitation material
• Harassment: Targeted attacks, bullying, or persistent unwanted contact
• Hate Speech: Content promoting violence or hatred against individuals or groups
• Threats: Real or implied threats of violence
• Personal Information: Sharing others' private information without consent
• Spam: Commercial content, chain letters, or pyramid schemes

Reporting and Blocking

VibeChat provides tools to:

• Block users: Prevent specific users from contacting you
• Report users: Flag behavior that violates these terms

We encourage users to use these features to maintain a positive experience. While we may not be able to take action on every report (due to our no-logging policy), patterns of abuse may result in actions against repeat offenders where technically feasible.

User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• Your conduct and any content you share
• Protecting your own privacy (we recommend not sharing personal information)
• Your interactions with other users
• Complying with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Merchantability
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy or reliability of any content
• Uninterrupted or error-free service

We do not guarantee the identity, intentions, or behavior of other users. Use caution when interacting with strangers.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIBECHAT AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Any loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses
• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VibeChat and its operators from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any content you share through the Service

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by VibeChat and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain rights to content you create, but by using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to transmit your content to other users as part of the Service's functionality.

Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Terminate or suspend access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason
• Modify or discontinue the Service at any time

Since we don't have user accounts, "termination" typically means implementing technical measures to prevent abuse where possible.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the date at the bottom of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels in the applicable jurisdiction.

Severability
